Wireless broadband is available throughout the SMA Centre, offering 8Mb (max) download speeds. Disabled access - a ramp up to the main door gives disabled access to all the ground floor rooms: the entrance lobby, the Long Room, the Committee Room, one kitchen and the disabled toilet. The ground floor kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, hot water urn and microwave oven. The first floor kitchen has cooker, fridge, hot water urn and microwave oven.  The first floor cloakrooms have spacious ante-rooms for hanging coats. Our toilets are cleaned daily, as indeed is the entire building interior. Mobile phone reception is good throughout the SMA Centre, and there is also a landline pay phone on the first floor. Production office direct line phones exist in the Theatre and in the office behind the stage. The entire SMA Centre has central heating and radiators can be controlled in individual rooms. Theatre bookings include a maximum of four car parking spaces, and unloading (e.g. scenery) from commercial vehicles is possible by appointment. 
We can recommend a local caterer, Christopher Curtis, who has worked frequently at SMA Centre and who can provide everything from a plate of sandwiches to a silver-service banquet. Amplified music is permitted during the week but, being a residential area, restrictions exist in the evenings and at weekends. Please discuss with the Centre Manager. |
